Best Buddies Qatar and Shafallah Center have signed an agreement with Trimoo Parks, which will see three each of Best Buddies Qatar and Shafallah Center members receiving training and getting employed at Trimoo Parks.
The agreement has been signed within the framework of Best Buddies Qatar and Shafallah Center’s Rehabilitation and Vocational programme.
The partnership aims to promote the rights of special needs people and hone their skills in order to integrate them into the society.
Laalei Abu Alfain, managing director of Best Buddies Qatar and acting executive director of Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, said: “We are glad to have this opportunity to get our members trained and employed at Trimoo Parks. The agreement will help enhance life of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities through integrated employment and socialisation.”
Ali Mohamed Khalifa Abdullah al Attiya, COO of Trimoo Parks, said: “As a new generation entertainment company, we aspire to create a destination that promotes equal opportunities and experiences for every member of the society. We are extremely delighted to have our dear friends from Best Buddies Qatar-Shafallah Centre on board, and work alongside strong and talented minds, who will inspire us to think beyond our abilities.”
After the signing ceremony, Alfain and Ali Mohammed Khalifa al Attia visited the members of Best Buddies Qatar and Shafallah Center in Human Recourses and Finance Departments of Trimoo Parks and held a discussion with each of them about their progress, achievements and enthusiasm during training.
