With its rich collection of literary, historical, cultural and intellectual publications, Qatar’s pavilion at the 24th Muscat International Book Fair continues to attract a large number of visitors.
The book fair, which started on February 21, will continue until March 2. The Qatari pavilion, organised by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, also reflects the heritage of Qatar and the remarkable cultural momentum in the country.
Director of the Doha International Book Fair Jassem al Buainain said the Qatari participation in the Muscat book fair is significant and the Ministry of Culture and Sports is keen to present its various publications in addition to the publications of Dar Lusail publishing house, at the exhibition.
Buainain said the Qatari pavilion has witnessed the visits of several dignitaries who expressed their happiness in the Qatari participation and the Qatari pavilion’s quality of design. (QNA)
