Olive International School, Umm Salal Ali, hosted an Inter-school ‘Spell Bee Competition’ on February 14, to create awareness of the possibilities of using varied words in oral expression and to add words to the active vocabulary of students.
Students from various schools participated in the event and dueled with the toughest words. The hall was packed with pupils and teachers cheering for the competitors.
After a number of nail biting rounds, Ehan Suhas from Rajagiri Public School emerged as the ‘Spell Be Winner’. The first, second and third positions were bagged by Bhagya Sreebinu from Shantiniketan Indian School, Sreya Bijesh from Nobel International School and Mariel Rose from Olive International School Umm Salal Ali respectively.
