The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), an initiative of Qatar Foundation (QF), has announced that the next edition of its flagship biennial summit will take place on November 19-21, 2019, in Doha.
The biennial WISE Summit brings together more than 2,000 thought leaders, decision makers and practitioners from a variety of sectors across the world – including business, politics, civil society, and media – to contribute to shaping the future of global education.
Past keynote speakers at the WISE Summit include then-US First Lady Michelle Obama, former UK prime minister Gordon Brown, former Australian prime minister Julia Gillard and Secretary-General of the United Nations Ant?nio Guterres.
WISE was established in 2009 as an international, multi-sectoral platform for creative thinking, debate and purposeful action. The initiative’s programmes, research and advocacy work offers the global education community a unique opportunity to meet, share and grow innovative practices that address pressing challenges in the sphere of education.
