AS part of its volunteer work and social responsibility, Elan Group has recently participated in the Tayf program for collecting in-kind donations, which is run by Qatar Charity (QC).
Employees from Elan Group contributed in-kind donations such as clothes, shoes, toys, and accessories which were collected by QC with the aim of selling them for a symbolic price and contributing the revenues to fund other charity projects.
Commenting on this initiative, an employee of Elan said:"I felt that I did something good for the society, even if it is small, and I hope that these donations will bring happiness to the people in need."
Amer al Besiry, manager of in-kind donations (Tayf program) at QC, said:"We want to thank Elan Group for this noble initiative, and we want to thank all the employees and the management team for their donations."
He added:"Qatar Charity is open to such initiatives that promote the spirit of volunteer work in the society, and strengthen the partnerships between charity institutions and the business sector, in the framework of activating their corporate social responsibilities." (TNN)
