Doha Qatar has condemned the bombings that targeted a Roman Catholic cathedral on the southern Philippine island of Jolo and resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries. In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives or reasons. The ministry offered Qatar’s condolences to the families of the victims, and the government and people of the Philippines, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
