The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani arrived in Seoul on Sunday for a two-day official visit to the Republic of Korea. The Amir will meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Monday and discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them.
The Amir was welcomed upon arrival at Seoul Air Base by Oceans Fisheries Minister in the Republic of Korea, Kim Young-choon, Qatar’s Ambassador to Korea HE Mohammed Abdullah al Duhaimi and Korea’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Kim Chang-mo in addition to heads of Arab diplomatic missions accredited to Korea and members of the Qatari Embassy in Seoul. The Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
In a tweet, the Amir said, “Today, we will start an Asian tour that includes South Korea, Japan and China to give further impetus to our partnerships with these countries in various fields of cooperation.” Page 20
