Philippine Embassy in Doha hosted an entertainment-filled programmed titled “Hatid Saya: Thank you Qatar” as part of Qatar National Day (QND) celebration at the Aspire Zone Ladies Hall.
The event was attended by Mohamed Hassan al Obaidly, Deputy Minister and Chairman of the Labor Sector at the Qatar Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Arnell Ignacio and other dignitaries.
It was also attended by Consul General at the Philippine Embassy Atty. Roussel Reyes, Philippine Labour Attache to Qatar David Des Dicang and other officials of the embassy and the Philippine Overseas Labour Office (POLO-OWWA) in Doha.
The event, held in cooperation with Al Nasr Star Group, featured performances by Manila-based celebrities headlined by Filipina actress and performer Maja Salvador. She was also joined by actor Nico Antonio and beauty pageant title holder Noelle Uy Tuazon. Cultural performances and song numbers by Qatar-based Filipino artistes also added spice to the show.
