The much-awaited world concert of multiple-awarded Filipino singer Sarah Geronimo will be staged in Aspire Ladies Sports Hall on January 25, starting at 8:00pm.
The musical event titled “This I5 Me” is a celebration of the 15 years of Sarah in the entertainment industry. It has been staged in different parts of the world including across the US.
The concert in Doha will also feature Mark Bautista, Sam Concepcion and G-Force Dancers. It is produced by Doha City Events Management together with Qatar Hammad Performers and will also showcase a number of local players such as Tripod acoustic band and Soundz of Era band. Qatar Tribune is the official media partner of the event.
Hailed as the Philippine popstar princess, Sarah has to her credit multiplatinum albums, record breaking concerts, blockbuster movies, high-rated TV shows and countless endorsements. Aside from being a phenomenal performer, she is one of the favourite movie actresses of the Filipinos. All her movies have been box-office hits.
Sarah also ranked as the 7th top-earning Filipino celebrities in 2017. Her latest achievements include being named as Goodwill Ambassadress for Music of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, EduCircle Awards’ Most Influential Female Concert Performer of the Year 2017 and EduCircle Awards’ Most Influential Celebrity Endorses of the Year in 2017.
According to the organisers, the concert venue can accommodate around 4000 people. Given the large fan base of Sarah overseas including in Qatar, they are urging fans to book their tickets as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
