In a statement, the ministry highlighted a rise in the rates of vaccination coverage during the current year compared to previous years, in light of the great efforts exerted by the ministry and all bodies concerned.
The ministry stressed the importance of vaccination and its effectiveness in the prevention of seasonal flu.
The ministry buttressed the need to receive seasonal influenza vaccine, especially with the onset of the winter season and the recent drop in temperature as vaccination helps to prevent influenza complications, especially in high-risk populations.
