According to the report, commuters experienced highest level of traffic congestion during morning time peak hours between 7 am and 8 am.
Traffic congestion during morning hours was highest in November, while the evening-time traffic congestion was highest during December.
The report said the traffic congestion level in Qatar seems high in comparison to other countries and this could be due large number of road projects being implemented in 2015. It said the steady growth in population and number of vehicles in Qatar has adversely contributed to traffic problem.
However, as the road network gets stable with the completion of major road and infrastructure projects the congestion levels are expected to improve with time, it said.
