Eesha Naeem, a student of Pakistan Education Centre (PEC), showed one of the best academic performances of the recent years in the SSC-II annual examination 2016.
Eesha set a new record in the history of PEC by scoring 1,010 marks out of 1,050 earning the overall first position among all Pakistani schools in Doha. Danial Hannan Babar stood second by scoring 991 marks and Sana Saleem stood third with 984 marks.
Out of total 162 students who took the exam this year, 109 got first division by scoring more than 60 percent marks. Thirty students aced the exam by obtaining A1 grade (above 80 percent), 29 students obtained A grade (above 70 percent) and 50 students passed with B grade (above 60 percent). Eighteen students obtained more than 900 marks.
PEC Principal Nargis Raza Otho expressed her delight on the achievement of the students and congratulated them, their parents, and their teachers on the exam result. She urged the teachers to continue delivering their best for the betterment of the students. The ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the state of Qatar HE Shahzad Ahmed also congratulated the students, staff, and parents.
