Outstanding PISQ students feted


Students who shined in the academic session 2017-2018 were feted as the Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ) organised its annual prize distribution ceremony at its Arbab Auditorium.
The toppers in the Kindergarten, Primary Wing, Senior Wing (Boys) and Senior Wing (Girls) were awarded with prizes and merit certificates.
Deputy Head of Mission at Pakistan Embassy Murad Baseer and his wife attended the ceremony as the chief guests. The delighted parents of the award winners and a large number of students attended the event.
PISQ Principal Nargis Raza Otho thanked the chief guest for attending the event. She also thanked the parents for their support.
Baseer congratulated the award winners and called upon the students to work harder to achieve better results. He advised the students to make their daily life more organised and face the upcoming challenges more vigilantly so as to emerge more successful in life.
The ceremony was a joint effort of all the four wings of the school. At the outset, the shining stars of Kindergarten were feted by the principal with medals, certificates and trophies. The colourful presentation made by the little angels of the Kindergarten earned applause of the audience as they delighted everyone with their performance.
Another stage performance by the students of Primary Wing comprising three components ”"Jelly Fish" deep in see,"Wave Movements" in the sea and how children enjoy rain and water on a rainy day ” earned the appreciation of the audience.
Senior Wing (Boys) presented a mime on conservation of water to highlight the value of water and its proper use, was the other attraction of the event.
The concluding performance was from the Senior Wing (Girls) who exhibited control and balance on body movements. This performance was also well-received by the audience.
Medals, certificates and trophies were presented to the students by the principal of the school.
The chief guest presented medals, trophies and certificates to overall top three position holders from all the wings. The overall first position holders included Manahil Saeed, Imran Waqar and Aqib Noor. The overall second position holders were Shanza Fatima, Maheen Saghir, Muhammad Shaheer, Fajar Sajid and Muhammad Sanan.
The overall third position holders included Momina Ahmed, Sobhan Ahmadi Fard, Remas Ossama and Zakriya Faisal.
