Strong wind and tough competition in RAM League sixth leg

The sixth leg of the Royal Air Maroc Cycling League ended in Al Ghuwayriya near Al Zubarah Fort in the north of the country. Strong winds and tough competition made it difficult for top cyclists to rank in the five categories that form the league races.
Szymon Wasiak clinched the first category in which the 92-km distance was run in five laps.
The race witnessed a strong challenge especially in the elite category. Wasiak didn't figure prominently during the first four laps of the race, but with his long experiencem, he managed to grab the first place and the cup of the top category in the last metres before the finish line in 2:11:33 time, while Chris Morin came second place and Tom Witley finished third.
The women's first category also has witnessed a hectic competition. Jolie Milves won the first place and the cup in 1:50:44.
In Men's B category, Alvin Ross Marino won the gold medal in 1:54:44 time, Jaco Anderson was second and the third place went to Faberico Forschino.
In the women's B category, Elizabet Dani emerged the winner in 1:35:45. Her teammate Shawna Garbert finished second, while Carmela Lord finished secured the bronze medal.
In Men's C category, Andy Clark grabbed the first place, clocking 1:35:45. Barry Stoddart won the silver medal and Oliver Geist came third and celebrated the bronze.
