THE Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani issued on Monday Decree No. 11 of 2018, ratifying a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in education and scientific research between the governments of Qatar and Somalia, which was signed in Doha on March 18, 2015.
HH the Emir also issued Decree No. 13 of 2018, ratifying a twinning agreement between Doha Municipality and Bishkek Municipality, which was signed in Doha on December 8, 2014.
The two decrees are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official Gazette.
HH the Emir issued on Monday an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on air transport between the governments of Qatar and the US, signed in Washington on October 3, 2001.
HH the Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft MoU for cooperation in the field of youth and sports between the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Qatar and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Iraq, signed in Doha on January 16, 2018.
HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving an agreement on the cancellation of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and private or service passports between the governments of Qatar and Ethiopia, signed in Doha on November 14, 2017.
