THE Advisory (Shura) Council at a meeting on Monday read a memo of the General Secretariat of Council of Ministers on a draft law on industrial zones and decided by a majority to refer the draft law to the Services and Public Utilities Committee for more consideration and report.
The session was chaired by Deputy Speaker of the Advisory Council HE Mohammed bin Abdullah al Sulaiti.
At the outset of the session, Secretary-General of the Advisory Council HE Fahd bin Mubarak al Khayarin read the agenda of the meeting which was approved.
The Council read a memo of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No 5 of 2015 regarding commercial/industrial outlets and similar public facilities, as well as street vendors.
The Council discussed the draft law and decided to submit its recommendations to the Cabinet.
A memo of the Council of Ministers on the recommendations of the Advisory Council on the conduct of business and sale online in Qatar was also read. (QNA/Doha)
