Ideal Indian School (IIS) bagged the overall championship in the cultural competitions organised by Ministry of Interior (MoI) for expatriate schools on the occasion of Qatar National Day. It is for the sixth consecutive year that the IIS team is winning the title.
The IIS school team comprising 600 students from Boys, Girls and Junior Sections including the Scouts and Guides units took part in a series of cultural contests at Asian Town. With 55 points, IIS team bagged major positions in the contests for thematic parade, singing, general show and a thematic presentation titled 'Qatar- Shine on'.
IIS team received a trophy from (MoI) Public Relation Department Officer Lt Mubarak Sharida al Mutlaq. Principal Syed Shoukath Ali lauded the efforts put in by the students and teachers and congratulated the team on their excellent performance.
