A water quality monitoring team of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has collected samples from a body of water that has turned orange near Simaisma Beach recently.
The team is expected to give a report on the reasons that led to the colour change, the ministry said in a tweet on Wednesday.
"The necessary measures will be taken as soon as possible after confirming the source of the color or any effects on public health," the ministry added.
