Two men have been arrested in connection with reports of thefts at some shops in Industrial Area, the Ministry of Interior has said.
The men, identified only as African nationals, were arrested by a specialised team, which seized a number of stolen items from their possession.
The police said they confessed to the charges against them and were referred to judicial authorities for further action.
The Criminal Investigation Department calls on shop owners to install security cameras, lock doors and windows, and comply with the security requirements for safety from theft.
