His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Dr Mustafa Shantoub, President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, on the occasion of his visit to the country, at the Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Majlis at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday morning.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strategic relations of friendship and cooperation between Qatar and Turkey and aspects of their development in various fields.
The meeting was attended by Shura Council Speaker HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim.
On the Turkish side, it was attended by Vahid Keeler, a member of the Council from Bitlis Province and head of the Turkish-Qatari Parliamentary Friendship Group, Osman Oran, a member of the Council from Siirt Province, Salman Ozboyaci, a member of the Council from Konya Province, and Serkal Topal, a member of the Council from Hatay Province, Hayati Arkaz, a member of the Council from Istanbul Governorate, and Arslan Kabuccioglu, a member of the Council from Eski?ehir Province.
