Qatar on Friday recorded 4,123 new COVID-19 cases — 3,683 from within the community and 440 among travellers returning from abroad.
The Ministry of Public Health also reported 1,720 recoveries.
With this, the active cases in Qatar reached 37,178 while the total recoveries jumped to 253,413.
No new death linked to the virus was reported in the last 24 hours, leaving the total number of deaths so far at 623.
As many as 31,049 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total doses given out so far to 5,403,271.

*Adherence to physical distancing.
