The tenth Kashta exhibition, which showcases travel and camping supplies, kicked off Friday at the Simaisma and Al Daayen Youth Center with the participation of about 50 companies.
During the week-long exhibition, companies and shops offer hunting tools, land and sea trips, and camping equipment related to the Qatari heritage and locally manufactured.
Since its launch in 2012, the exhibition has been concerned with promoting local industries and offering new opportunities for young people to produce and invest in this field. Qatari youth have been able to present local industries that are distinguished in quality and meet the needs of the local community.
The exhibition illustrates the Qatari culture and heritage and the passion for camping.
Over the past years, the exhibition has succeeded in attracting the public, especially with the continuous development, leadership, and diversity in the size of the exhibits.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, activities and entertainment programs for children will be held at the outdoor playground. Visitors will also have the opportunity to draw on prizes provided by the exhibition's sponsors.
The exhibition takes into account all health requirements and social distancing in cooperation with the Qatar Voluntary Center, which is participating in organizing the event and providing volunteers. (QNA)
