HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Liz Truss, the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, and an accompanying delegation, at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday.
They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them, in addition to reviewing regional and international developments, particularly in Afghanistan.
Truss expressed her thanks to HH the Amir for Qatar's role in evacuating UK citizens from Kabul, and its efforts in the peace process in Afghanistan.
