Qatar Airways has described a tweet that is alleged to have been posted by the company referring to travel to Qatar as false.
"Qatar Airways is aware of a false tweet alleged to have been posted by the company referring to travel to Qatar, dated 11 November," the airline tweeted on Thursday.
"This information is incorrect and the national carrier calls on everyone to be accurate in reporting or sharing news tht originates only from official sources.
Necessary action will be taken against promoters of any such incorrect information."
