Qatar Civil Defence has evacuated people from the Mall of Qatar on Thursday as a precaution after smoke rose out of a restaurant kitchen in the mall.
No causalities were reported following the incident.
“Civil Defence ensures the safety procedures [were adhered to] in the Mall of Qatar complex [with precautionary evacuation] , after smoke rose inside the kitchen of one of the restaurants in the complex," the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in Tweet.
