A video that circulates on social media and shows concealed chairs in the hall of the Imam Abdul Wahhab Mosque in Qatar is incorrect, the Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs clarified in a tweet on Tuesday.
The video purportedly shows chairs — complete with armrests and boxes to hold personal belongings such as wallets and phones — that can be tucked away into the floor of Qatar's largest mosque.
“[It is] incorrect and without truth,” the ministry said on Twitter.
