Qatar and Spain held a round of political consultations on Monday via visual communication technology. The Qatari side was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, while the Spanish side was chaired by Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Arancha Gonzalez Laya. The consultations covered bilateral cooperation relations and issues of mutual concern. Following the round of consultations, Qatar and Spain signed an agreement on abolishing visa requirements for the holders of diplomatic, special and service passports between the two countries. The agreement was signed for Sheikh Mohammed and Arancha Gonzalez Laya.
