Sixty one percent of people of over 80 years of age have received atleast one dose of the vaccine and also 61% of over 70 years of age have received atleast one dose.
Of those aged over 60 years of age 55 percent have received atleast one dose of the vaccine and 10 percent of Qatar’s entire population have received atleast one dose of the vaccine.
Qatar started its biggest vaccination programme against COVID-19 on December 23 and started inoculating people in the priority group including— healthcare workers, the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
