HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met, at his office at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday morning, with the Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) Dr Ismail Haniyeh and the accompanying delegation.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr Haniyeh congratulated HH the Amir on the occasion of the Gulf reconciliation, and the positive results of the 41st session of the Gulf Cooperation Council summit.
The meeting reviewed developments in Palestine. Dr Haniyeh briefed HH the Amir on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, especially the efforts made to strengthen the Palestinian national unity.
