It’s necessary to wear a face mask even after life has fully returned to normal to avoid a second wave of the coronavirus (COVID-19), a top health official has said.
“There’s a need to take all preventive and precautionary measures even if life returns to normal completely,” Dr Muna Al Maslamani, Medical Director of the Communicable Diseases Center, told Al Kass TV.
She was speaking to the channel during the Football All Award for the 2019-2020 season.
The Board of Trustees of the Qatar Football Association Award presented the Football for All Award for the 2019-2020 season to the Ministry of Public Health for their efforts to restore football activity.
Hassan Rabia Al Kuwari, Secretary General of the Award Board of Trustees, handed over the award to the ministry in the presence of Dr Hamad Eid Al Rumaihi, Director of Health Protection and Control at the Ministry of Public Health, and Dr Muna Al Maslamani, Medical Director of the Communicable Diseases Center at HMC.

Dr Al Maslamani thanked the Qatar Football Association and the Qatar Stars League Foundation for honouring the frontline workers in the health sector.
