Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani met on Tuesday with HE Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on the sidelines of the Qatar Economic Forum 2022, Powered by Bloomberg, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing and strengthening them in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international situations of common interest.
After the meeting, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and HE Georgian Prime Minister witnessed the signing of an agreement on encouraging and protecting mutual investments, and an agreement on economic, commercial and technical cooperation between the two countries.
The two agreements were signed by HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani and HE Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Levan Davitashvili.
