The Qatar Meteorology Department has predicted a cloudy weather for Saturday, with chances of scattered rain, thunder and strong downdraft wind whipping up dust that might sometimes lower visibility to zero.
In its daily weather report, the department said weather inshore until 6 pm on Saturday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain.
Offshore, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at times, the report added, warning of thunder and rain associated with strong wind and high sea.
Wind inshore will be southeasterly to southwesterly 12 to 22 knot gusting to 26 knot at places at times.
Offshore, it will be mainly southeasterly 12 to 22 knot, gusting to 28 knot at times.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/2 kilometer or less at places at first.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore it will be 3 to 7 feet rises to 9 feet at times.
