His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday.
At the beginning of the meeting, Bill Gates expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Amir for the efforts of in humanitarian and development work around the world, especially the humanitarian efforts in support of the Afghan people.
During the meeting, the existing cooperation relations between the two sides and prospects for its development were reviewed, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
