His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron discussed friendship and cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, especially the economic, investment, defense, security, educational and development fields, in a way that achieves the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.
The talks, which took place at the Amiri Diwan on Friday, dealt with exchanging opinions and views on a number of regional and international issues of joint interest, especially the latest developments in the region.
The talks were attended by a number of ministers. On the French side, they were attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the president.
