The Fahes management on Monday announced the Ramadan operating hours for its technical inspection centres in different parts of the country.
In a tweet, Fahes said the centres in Al Mazrouaah, Wadi Al Banat (Mesaimeer), Al Shahaniya (Al Egda), Al Wakra (Al Wukair) and the Mobile Inspection Unit at Madinat Al Shamal (External) will open at 8am. All these centres, except for the Mobile Inspection Unit will stop work at 4pm, with gate closure at 3:30pm. The Madinat Al Shamal facility will only remain open until noon with the gate closure at 15 minutes prior to end time.

Recently, Fahes announced that social media posts about vehicles being exempt from reporting to a Fahes centre for technical inspection this year as well are "false news".
"We ask all customers to take information about Fahes only from the official communication channels of WOQOD or those of the Traffic Department," the company said on Twitter.
Technical inspections for all vehicles that are due for Istimarah (registration) renewal were waived off for a few months between March and August 2020 as part of COVID-19 precautionary measures.
Although several restrictions prevailing then have been reinstated over the past few weeks following a rapid rise in new COVID-19 cases, Fahes has not been closed.
Qatar's Cabinet on Wednesday reduced metro and public bus capacities to 20 percent, halted all dine-in services and suspended the operations of salons at it approved another round of restrictions amid increasing COVID-19 cases in Qatar.
