Almost 30 percent of the adult population in Qatar has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has said in its weekly virus update.

It said that 29.8 percent of the total population (16 years and above) have received at least one dose of the vaccine. 
According to the report, 168,925 vaccine doses have been administered in the last seven days and a total of 1,079,776 doses administered since the start of the programme. 
Also, 79.8 percent of people over 60 years of age have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
Among those over 70 years of age, 78.3 percent have received at least one dose and 77.2 percent of people above the age of 80 years have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
