Children up to the ages of 16 are exempt from hotel quarantine upon arrival in Qatar if they are accompanied by a parent who has been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Qatar, according to Discover Qatar, the destination management subsidiary of Qatar Airways. However, the child will be required to quarantine at home for 7 days.
As per Qatar's latest exit-entry policy, all travellers coming to Qatar are required to quarantine in a designated hotel for seven days, except for those who have been vaccinated or coming from a green list country.
For parents travelling with a minor aged 16-18 where the minor has not received the vaccine in line with the above qualifications, they will need to book a “Welcome Home Package” and follow the same conditions outlined in the rest of this document, regardless if the parent has received the vaccinations or otherwise, Discover Qatar said.
