Starting from March 21, no employee will be allowed to enter the school without showing the golden frame and stamp of the COVID-19 vaccine highlighting the health status in the Ehteraz app, the vaccination card or bring a proof that he/she has done a weekly COVID-19 examination.
This was announced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) on Wednesday.  The ministry said the measures are taken in coordination with the competent authorities in the country to ensure the safety of the educational and administrative staff and the safety of students.
The ministry said in the event of a confirmed infection or contact with a confirmed infection, the quarantine period for employee, who had the opportunity to take the vaccine and failed to do it for unacceptable reasons, will be without pay.
The ministry called on all school employees to take the vaccine and not miss the specified dates in order to preserve their safety and the safety of students. It said priority for vaccinating school personnel will end by March-end.
