HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the14th Education Excellence Day Award ceremony, which took place at Doha Sheraton Hotel on Monday morning.
The ceremony was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies Sheikhs and Ministers, and senior state officials.
HH the Amir honored the 71 winners of the Education Excellence Award, who are Master's and PhD degree holders, university graduates and outstanding primary, preparatory and secondary school students, in addition to the winners in the categories of outstanding teacher and school.
A film about the 2021 Award and the winners in various categories was screened during the ceremony.
The ceremony also included a speech by HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al Hammadi, and another speech delivered by the student Ahmed Abdullah Al Buainain, award winner in the category of Master's degree, on behalf of the honored.
The Education Excellence Award Day ceremony for this year was organized amid precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of Covid-19.
