Qatar supports Somalia with projects worth $200 million

MOGADISHU Qatar Development Fund (QDF) on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Somalia's Ministry of Planning to implement various development projects worth $200 million in Somalia. QDF Director Khalifa bin Jassim al Kuwari said the projects implemented by the fund included development projects, reconstruction of government buildings and construction of two roads linking the capital with the northern and southern regions of the country. The projects also include a programme to empower young people and create jobs.
