DOHA: Chairperson of Qatar Museums HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani launched a series of podcasts to explore Qatar's modern cultural development, as part of Qatar Museums' year-round cultural initiative known as Qatar Innovates Initiative.
Titled 'the magic of culture', the same title as a book by Her Excellency, the podcast and the book reinforce Qatar's position as a vital center for arts, culture, design, architecture, and other creative industries.
She hailed 2022 as a landmark year in Qatar's history when it shared Qatari culture, heritage, and vision for the future with the world. As part of the legacy of that remarkable time, it is a pleasure to share the "magic of culture" podcast series, which offers personal reflections and dialogue on a wide range of projects whether in the past, present or future that are building both Qatars thriving cultural scene and creative economy, Her Excellency said.
Culture is the most powerful way to bring people together, and to spark a kind of dialogue that enables people to learn, grow, collaborate, and inspire ideas that resonate across the creative industries, Her Excellency added, explaining that the podcast series deals with the development of Qatar's creative journey through dialogues conducted with pioneers from the region and around the world, highlighting the importance of innovative and actionable plans in supporting communities around the world.
