More than 6 kilograms from illegal drugs and counterfeit currency have been seized from a passenger at the Hamad International Airport, the General Authority of Customs said on Thursday.
In photos released by the authorities, the contraband can be seen hidden inside the side panel of a trolley bag in two black plastic bags. The opened bags showed what looked like crystal meth.
The seized substances weighed to a total of 6.107 kilograms.
The GAC said a pat-down of the passenger resulted in the seizure of counterfeit currencies.
