DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has issued its daily weather report, forecasting a mixture of conditions in Doha and its offshore areas until 6pm on Monday.
Inshore, residents can expect hazy to misty weather in some places initially, evolving into partly cloudy skies throughout the day. There is a possibility of light rain at places around noontime. The wind is predicted to be mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, ranging between 3 to 13 knots, with occasional gusts reaching up to 18 knots in some areas during the daytime.
Visibility inshore may vary between 4 to 9km, or less in certain locations, especially in the early hours. Offshore conditions are expected to be hazy with some clouds, and visibility ranging from 4 to 8km.
Sea states inshore will be relatively calm, with heights between 1 to 2 feet. Offshore areas may experience slightly higher waves, ranging from 1 to 3 feet.
Residents and sailors are advised to stay updated on the weather conditions throughout the day and take necessary precautions, considering the potential for light rain and varying visibility.
