Beats and Bytes (BnB) Dancers - The New Breed, in collaboration with MetLife and community partners RC Events, Pinay FAQ and La Diva De Quafier is conducting dance workshop titled ‘Emerge 3’.
The workshop is being held every Friday (ongoing until December 2023) at the dance studio of Life+ Health Club located at Jaidah Square. Enrollment is a must for those interested to be part of this programme.
This non-formal education (NFE) programme of the BnB Dancers the New Breed, is one of its ways to celebrate its 15 years anniversary.
The programme is focused less on structured education and more on the physical, emotional, social benefits and practical knowledge. It delves on the appreciation of the arts, specifically the art of dancing. It is a fun way of learning for all dance enthusiasts.
The workshops is led by the experience coaches/choreographers of the BnB Dancers headed by the group’s Artistic Director Julius Alferez known as Coach Saint, Coach Yushene Balmonte, Coach Kali Labarda, Coach Franco Turo, and Coach Kolin Hajan.
On the grand finale scheduled this coming December 22, a Master Class will be conducted by a guest dancer/coach from A Team Philippines.
KINSE: A Dance concert and Emerge 3 Recital
A dance concert and recital is set to be performed by the talents of BnB Dancers The New Breed on December 22, 2023. It will also be a culminating activity of the Emerge 3 Workshop participants to showcase what they have learned during the period.
The event is a celebration of the 15 years existence of the BnB Dancers in serving the Filipino and expatriate community in Qatar. It is also the organisation’s way of showcasing the talents and how they have grown with this prestigious dance group.
A celebratory party atmosphere will also be created to enjoy this meaningful celebration together with BnB’s network of friends, fans, supporters and benefactors.
Special guests choreographers from the Philippines will be invited namely: Chael Ablaza (a member of the A Team Philippines) and Kate Turo (founder of Afro Pilipinas - the newest dance craze in the Philippines). Both are notable dance coaches and choreographers at various dance studios in the Philippines.
