DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan on Monday morning with Vice President of the friendly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela HE Dr Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez and the accompanying delegation on the occasion of her visit to the country.
At the outset of the meeting, Dr Delcy conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela HE Nicolas Maduro, and his wishes of good health and happiness to His Highness and further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
For his part, HH the Amir entrusted the Vice President to convey his greetings to the President, and his wishes of good health to him and further progress and development for the people of Venezuela.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two countries and prospects for developing them, in addition to several topics of common interest.
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani attended the meeting.
