The Emir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani met the Prime Minister of the friendly United Kingdom Theresa May in New York on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly. They discussed bilateral relations and means of developing mutual cooperation between the two countries in different areas. They also exchanged views on various developments in the regional and international arenas, especially the latest developments of the Gulf crisis and the international efforts in support of the sisterly State of Kuwait's mediation to resolve the crisis through diplomatic dialogue. The meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir and members of the delegation accompanying the UK PM. (QNA)
