NEW YORK: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met on Tuesday with Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland HE Leo Varadkar on the sidelines of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During the meeting, relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them were reviewed, especially in the fields of energy, economy and trade.
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance joint development efforts in the field of empowering women and minorities, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
