Qatar on Wednesday reported 163 new COVID-19 cases -- 142 among community and 21 among travellers.
In a statement, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said 118 people recovered from the virus
It said a total of 5,035,470 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme. As many as 7,216 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the past 24 hours.
So far 148,742 COVID-19 booster vaccine doses have been administered in the country, it added.
With this, the MoPH said, 85.5 percent of the total population have now been fully vaccinated with two doses.
