Qatar on Tuesday reported 158 new COVID-19 cases – 146 among community and 12 among travellers, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has said.
Also, 113 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in Qatar to 241,679.
The MoPH said a total of 50,28,254 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to community members since the start of National COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.
As many as 9,327 doses of COVID-19 vaccines were administered in the past 24 hours.
So far, a total of 142,971 COVID-19 booster doses have also been administered in the country.
With this, the MoPH said, 85.5 percent of the total population have now been fully vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine.
