Sharq Insurance L.L.C, the general insurance company owned by Doha Bank, has received the “Digital Transformation of The Year Qatar 2023 – Insurance Sector” Award from the Global Business Review Magazine.
The award comes in recognition of the company’s digital solutions, quality of services, and the rapid pace of its digital transformation, which are all factors that have pushed Sharq Insurance to be ahead of the curve in the Qatari market.
In September 2022, Sharq Insurance launched its operations with a fully integrated website as well as a conversational Al solution to offer online insurance services, saving clients valuable time and effort.
The company’s chat bot, Jamaly, which has grown to become an iconic feature of the user-friendly online service, has been helping clients obtain their quotations online quickly and easily, often within two minutes. Clients can file claims for Motor and Travel insurances, as well as Insurance Claims services, with the help of Jamaly or through the mobile application (available on iOS and Android). The company also has plans to expand the chatbot’s capabilities later this year, enabling fast and easy assistance to clients with Home and Personal Accident coverage quotations.
In addition, the implementation of customer relationship management (CRM) for customer-oriented service has played a crucial role in winning the award, thanks to providing a 360-degree overview of each client and their portfolio, enabling tracking and prioritization of incoming service requests in the system.
